With over 49 years of experience as an educational leadership keynote speaker, instructional leadership coach, administrator, and teacher, Gary D. Soto helps superintendents, district administrators, school principals, and teacher leaders to create conditions and cultures that significantly accelerate student achievement. He is the founder and CEO of Gary D. Soto Consulting, Inc., a professional development and consulting firm that provides coaching, training, and keynote presentations on comprehensive K-12 public school reform.
Gary is also a co-author of Crimes Against Learning: Solving the Serial Failure of School Reform, a book that challenges the status quo and offers solutions to improve student outcomes for all learners. He is a recipient of the National Educator Award for Reshaping American Education and the Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to human rights advancement. He leverages his expertise in instructional leadership, evidence-based MTSS actions, The Science of Reading, Systematic Explicit Instruction, Best First Instruction, and Collective Efficacy.
